Welcome to our website

      Evington is about 3 miles from the centre of    Leicester on the east side. The church is situated on the B667 between the A47 and A6 main roads

The parish church is on the edge of the village  and people
 have worshipped here for nearly 800 years

Statement of Faith 

As a member of the Church of England we fully subscribe to the Doctrine of the Trinity

We accept the authority of Scripture

We believe that Jesus was without sin and died for us so that we may know God's grace and redemption and thus Salvation comes through belief  in Jesus Christ

We accept the authority, tradition and mind of the church as handed down over the centuries and as is exercised by our Diocesan Bishop

We hold the sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism as central to our faith

We hold that justification comes through faith alone
