Have you ever felt the preacher was speaking rubbish and you wanted to stand up and disagree but you dare not do it in church? But where can you air your views and put the preacher back in his/her place? Where can you come and argue your views on faith, Christianity and the world and enjoy the company of others who want to ask, share and argue? Maybe the answer for you is to join a house group. These groups meet fortnightly or monthly in people's homes mostly in the evening but there is one afternoon group.
What is required of you? Only a sense of humour and a desire to find out more about faith and the Bible. Laughter and friendly banter is never far away and during the year the groups usually share together for a Christmas party and a summer barbecue. Friendship is guaranteed and surprisingly we all seem to learn a lot despite the informality of the settings.
