SPECIAL EVENTS AT ST DENYS
July 18th 60km walk for our link CMS
Missionaries - Allan & Anne Lacey
We will leave
St. Denys church at 4.00am (anyone care to come and say a prayer for us?) and
then walk across the lanes, fields and minor roads to Launde Abbey by 9.00am
and then onto Egleton on the shore of Rutland Water by about 11.30am; 21
miles done. We then walk around the perimeter but not including the
peninsular; that last 17 miles will probably take another 6-7 hours. We would
like plenty of sponsorship please as we wish to raise a significant amount of
money for our CMS missionaries Allan and Anne Lacey to help them with some of
their projects.
August 9th Evington Village Fete
The church will be open from 1 - 4pm
Displays from church organisations plus crafts and art
‘Have a go’ at bellringing between 1.30 and 3pm
